Welcome from AvlCodeMonkey Industries LLC where questionable life choices are transformed into well-tested software. My name is Chris. This company exists because after more than two decades of writing code for everyone else, I finally decided it was time to build products with my own name on them. Hopefully, spending 20+ years fixing other people's technical debt gives me a pretty good idea of what software should look like.
I've spent my career building cloud applications, distributed systems, SaaS platforms, healthcare software, and whatever impossible thing Product promised a customer before asking Engineering if it was feasible. I've worked everywhere from startups to platforms serving millions of users, leading architecture, mentoring engineers, modernizing legacy systems that probably qualified as archaeological sites, and occasionally convincing production to remain operational through sheer force of sarcasm. I've written enough C#, .NET, Azure, AWS, JavaScript, SQL, and infrastructure code that my keyboard should qualify as a tax deduction.
Some people call themselves "10x engineers." I'm just a code monkey who has survived enough framework rewrites, "game-changing" JavaScript libraries, cloud migrations, agile transformations, digital transformations, AI revolutions, and management fads to know that the real superpower is shipping software that actually works. Fancy architecture diagrams are great, but users generally prefer applications that don't explode when they click a button.
AvlCodeMonkey Industries is where I get to build the software I wish existed instead of waiting for someone else to build it incorrectly. The goal is simple: create practical SaaS products that solve real problems, don't require a 47-page onboarding guide, and avoid making users question their life choices every time they log in. If that means writing clean code, deleting unnecessary code, or explaining for the thousandth time why "it's just a small change" isn't actually a small change... well, that's what code monkeys do.
